Volunteers – You asked for it! We heard your request! And now…
We finally received our mobile book shelf at Santa Rita Jail.
What this means to you: no more hauling boxes of book (unless to fill the shelf) or digging through to find specific types of genres and age appropriate materials.
How it will work: The shelf will be wheeled out during program times, and wheeled back in when the program is complete. We expect to keep it fully stocked with lots of kids’ favorites, especially board books and picture books!
